QCIE would like to collect stories from students and families about their Inclusive Education experiences with Education QLD, Cath Ed, and Independent schools. Stories and data will be shared anonymously and will provide snapshots of children and their families’ real experiences at school. Our aim is to highlight the gap between policy and what actually happens every day in QLD schools. QCIE wants to provide a constant reminder of what needs to happen to make inclusive education a reality for all.
Privacy and Confidentiality
All your comments and responses will be treated confidentially. We ask you not to add personal names, school names or any information that may identify people or places. In the event of this inadvertently happening, QCIE will use fake names to de-identify people and places, and care will be taken to remove any identifiable information, about you, other people or your school in the stories provided.

Please note this is not a complaints mechanism and no follow up will be carried out with the Department or education providers. If you require individual advice around your child’s situation, please contact CRU for an individual consultation or contact QAI for advocacy advice and/or support in submitting an official complaint to the Department of Education or relevant education system.
