QCIE is inviting families to share their stories with policy makers and elected officials working with the Queensland Department of Education, and other officials in the Queensland Catholic education and independent schools systems. Stories will be shared anonymously and will provide snapshots of children and their families’ real experiences at school. Our aim is to highlight the gap between policy and practice, that is, compare what policies and guidelines say to what actually happens every day in schools. QCIE’s approach is to provide educational leaders a constant reminder of what needs to happen to make inclusive education a reality for all.
Privacy and Confidentiality
All your comments and responses will be treated confidentially. We ask you not to add personal names, school names or any information that may identify people or places. In the event of this inadvertently happening, QCIE will use pseudonyms (fictitious names) to de-identify people and places and care will be taken to remove any identifiable information that could possibly identify you, other people or your school in the stories provided to the Department of Education and other education providers.
If you would like QCIE to contact you in the future about your story/experience you will have an option to provide your email address before submitting the form.
The information that you provide will be stored securely in a databased, accessible only with password protected credentials. Note that only QCIE Governance Committee members will have access to the database. We will not share any identifiable information with a third party.
