Help for the difficult times
Making a complaint If you have a complaint about a state school, try and resolve the issue using the Education Queensland complaints process. For complaints about school matters you are encouraged to use the following three step approach:
If you haven’t been able to resolve your complaint with Education Queensland, you can approach the Queensland Ombudsman - make your complaint to us. The Ombudsman does not have the power to investigate complaints about private schools. All complaints about non-state schools should firstly be made to the principal of the school and/or the school’s governing body. Non-state school contact details are available in the schools directory. For further advice about making a complaint or to find out the contact details for a governing body:
