General Comment No 4 - Article 24: Right to Inclusive Education
The General Comment No 4 clarifies Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (The Right to Inclusive Education) by specifically stating what is inclusive education and what is not (integration and segregation).
Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA)
The Act makes disability discrimination unlawful and promotes equal rights, equal opportunity and equal access for people with disabilities.
Disability Standards for Education 2005
The Disability Standards for Education 2005 clarify the obligations of education and training providers, and seek to ensure that students with disability can access and participate in education on the same basis as other students.
Inclusive Education Policy
The Queensland Department of Education Inclusive Policy Statement was released in 2018.
